Let’s put it out there. Getting a traditional book deal is HARD AF…

Even if you look at it purely as a numbers game, the sheer volume of proposals that editors and agents get sent every week, compared to the number of books that get accepted and published, means that this isn’t time to half ass it.

If you are serious about wanting your book traditionally published, then you need to get serious about putting together a stellar proposal. 

And if you want that book proposal to have a shot at standing out from the crowd, you are going to have to bring your A game. (Sorry, I'm all for it usually, but this isn’t time for B- work)

 Luckily for you, when it comes to creating your book proposal, I know exactly what your A game needs to look like. And I also know that, even though I bang on all the time about how hard it is - we both know YOU can do hard things.

You know you want to write a book. You're not really sure how to make it happen. You maybe think that you could self publish but... 

You've got this feeling ...

You know it's hard, but you want to take your shot. You want to have a go at getting an agent, getting a book deal

You are thinking big, you are playing the long game, you know you've got a message to get out there that's so important to you. You don't care that it's going to be hard. You want to at least try this.

So this is me, saying to you  'take the damn shot'

You've got an idea.

You know roughly - or even maybe exactly - what you want to write about. (I mean if you’ve got NO CLUE that’s still ok, it’s literally what I’m here for)

You have a methodology or a process for how you coach people and how you get them incredible results. 

It's time to share that with the wider world. 

(shush your brain that's telling you the world doesn't need another book about whatever... we'll get to that)

There are 2 really simple ingredients that go into a book proposal.

1) Your book idea needs to be absolutely 🔥 - not just in your own head, but so that it is instantly recognisable as fitting a gap in the market

2) Your platform and positioning also need to be absolutely 🔥 - you need to know how to present both you and your book to make you an instant YES

So simple - but as we know, simple isn’t always easy. 

Here's how we do it... 

Over the course of 6 months, starting in June 2022, you will get the teaching, coaching, mentoring, feedback and general ass-kicking and virtual arm-stroking you need to create a proposal that you can then submit to agents.

(In case you didn't know this part, in the vast majority of cases you don't submit your proposal directly to a publisher. You need an agent first. So what you are NOT going to get at the end of this programme is a magic wand book deal.  What you ARE going to get is an incredibly strong, professionally put together book proposal that makes an incredibly compelling case why you should be snapped up IMMEDIATELY).

Through a combination of self-study, a dedicated slack channel, zoom coaching and direct feedback on your work from me, you will know how to:

• Refine your idea so that it is a strong, commercial proposition

• Get your book planned, outlined & structured

• Write & edit your sample material

• Build out the rest of your proposal, so it presents your profile & positioning in the strongest light

• Make sure you understand the nuts and bolts of what to do next in terms of submitting to agents, how publishing works, what to expect as a published author (and crucially how you make any money)
